Host an EcoMentors Workshop
Become a “Host Group Contact” to arrange an EcoMentors workshop at your organization. The Host Group Contact is responsible for communications with the EcoMentor(s). You offer them a location to facilitate an EcoMentors workshop and provide important feedback.
EcoMentors help you
- Engage youth, children and students
- Extend learning around environmental subjects
- Encourage discussions from a youth perspective
- Facilitate dynamic environmental lesson plans and workshops with minimal involvement from you
Workshops take place in a wide range of settings. Examples include
- Schools and educational classes
- After-school programs and clubs
- Community and recreational centres
- Faith based organizations
- Extra-curricular organizations (ex. Boy Scout & Girl Guide troops)
